He was a long-time resident of Warminster, PA. Les was born on March 11, 1941, in Philadelphia, to parents, Charles and Florence Thompson. He graduated from Lincoln High School in 1959. Les enjoyed a life-long career in management, working in magazine sales and circulation. After retirement, he enjoyed driving a school bus.
Les was a long-time member of St. John’s Anglican Church, where he was a member of the choir and served two terms on the vestry. He loved music and the theater. Les also enjoyed traveling, swimming, doing word search puzzles and rooting for the Phillies.
He is survived by his wife Lillian; children Bonnie, Jim (Elaine), Kerry; granddaughter Samantha (Derek); sister Darlene; and nieces and nephews.
Les was preceded in death by his two sisters Betty and Nancy, his two brothers Charles and Gary and his parents Charles and Mabel.
A service is scheduled for 11am on January 26, 2022, at St. John’s Anglican Church, 1150 Bristol Road, Southampton PA 18966. The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the service. Interment will be private.
