Karl W. Schwab, age ninety-three, passed away on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at Chandler Hall Hospice in Newtown. Born in Cottenweiler, Germany, he was the son on the late Carl and Pauline Schwab. Karl was a longtime resident of Southampton and Huntingdon Valley, PA.
Mr. Schwab was the co-owner of Schwab and Rieber Inc. from 1963 to 2000. He had previously worked for the Budd Company in Philadelphia. Karl received an Associates Degree from Pennsylvania State University and attended the Spring Garden Institute of Tool and Design.
He enjoyed golf, travel, deep-sea fishing and good food. He loved spending time with his grandchildren.
Karl was the beloved husband of Elsie P. Schwab for forty-five years before her death in 2000. He was the devoted father of Karl Schwab, Lauren (Robert) Jordan and Merle (Scott) Johnston. He was the loving grandfather of Dr. Kelly Jordan, Craig (Jacqueline) Jordan, Scott Johnston and Kyle (Nikki) Johnston; great grandfather of Olivia Jordan.
Relatives and friends are invited to call on Wednesday, December 8, 2021 from 10 to 11 AM at the North and Southampton Reformed Church, 1380 Bristol Road, Churchville, PA 18966. His funeral service will be at 11 AM. The interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the North and Southampton Reformed Church.
