Edward Reardon

Edward Thomas “Tommy” Reardon, of Dennisport, MA, formerly of Stoughton, passed away suddenly on August 10th, 2018, at the age of 75 years. Tommy was the son of the late Edward and Anna Reardon of Westwood, MA. He was born in Boston on October 16 , 1942 and was raised in Westwood, MA. He was predeceased by his sister Patricia Brunette and her son, Frankie Alderman of Sharon, MA and his step sister Ann Marie Goggin. His is survived by his siblings; sister Elizabeth and her husband John Cullinane of Needham, MA and his brother Kevin and his wife Louise Reardon of Dennisport, MA. He will be lovingly remembered by his many nieces and nephews, especially his niece Meghan of Dennisport with whom he shared a special bond.

Tommy began working at a young age in the family linen business, Norfolk County Linen Service in Norwood, MA, and then for over 25 years at The Morse Shoe Company in Stoughton, MA (now called Casual Male.) Tommy lived a majority of his adult life in Stoughton, Ma. He was an avid fan of the New England Patriots and had a deep love for all animals, especially his cat Rusty.

A Celebration of Tommy ’s life will be held on Monday, August 20th at Doane Beal & Ames, 729 Route 134 South Dennis, MA beginning at 8:30am. Mass will immediately follow at 10:00am, St. Pius X Church, 5 Barbara St, South Yarmouth, MA Memorial donations in memory of Tommy can be made to the Easter Seals Massachusetts, 484 Main Street, Worcester, MA 01608.
