Earl A. Beardsley

Earl A. Beardsley, 91, of South Dennis, formerly of Foxboro, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 24, 2023 at Cape Cod Hospital. He was the beloved husband of the late Mary Elizabeth "Liz" (Mandeville) Beardsley, with whom he shared 50 years of marriage until her passing in 2008.

Born in Cambridge on February 14, 1932, he was a son of the late Earl A. and Helen A. (Furey) Beardsley. He proudly served his country as a member of the United States Air Force during the Korean War. Earl met his wife, Liz, at the Phillips Brooks Club, Trinity Episcopal Church, Boston. They were married on August 16, 1958. Earl spent his career working as a Mechanical Engineer. He was the founder and president of Datamark. In 1994, Earl and Liz retired to South Dennis. In his later years, Earl enjoyed flipping houses on Cape Cod. He will be remembered by all those who knew him for his kind spirit and generous nature.

Earl is survived and will be deeply missed by his brother, Alan Beardsley and his wife Nancy, of Bedford, MA; and a niece, Sharon Kailher and her husband Christopher of Rumford, RI. He was the great-uncle of Benjamin and Isabel Kailher and Kelly and Justin Hurley.

In addition to his wife, he was predeceased by a niece, Linda A. (Beardsley) Hurley.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 1st at 1 PM at Christ Church Episcopal, 671 Rt. 28, Harwichport, MA. Interment will follow in South Dennis Cemetery, 234 Main St, South Dennis, MA. To leave an online condolence, please visit www.doanebealamesdennis.com
