Bradley Jewett Rowe

Brad was born on November 16, 1935 in Brockton, MA, to the late Percival L. and Gertrude (Jewett) Rowe. He was the beloved husband to the late Carol Rowe for over 60 years, before she passed away in 2019.

Loving father to Linda Rowe and her partner Doug Hanson , and Kim Campos and her husband Tony and cherished granddaughter Kate.

He is also survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Nancy and Dennis Lander, niece Lisa and husband Bob and their daughter Alyssa; and nephew Cliff and his son Luke, as well as cherished cousins from Friendship, ME, and his close friend Charlie.

Brad spent his first several years in East Bridgewater, MA before moving to Bellingham, MA where he graduated from high school before heading to UMASS Amherst to obtain his degree in Business Administration. Brad spent many summers in Maine, first in Friendship with his aunt’s, uncle’s and cousin’s, and then later with his wife and children in Biddeford.

Brad married his high school sweetheart Carol and they moved to Hopedale, MA where they raised their two daughters and he worked at Draper Corporation as a computer programmer from 1957 thru 1978 when they were bought out by Rockwell International and relocated to North Carolina. At that time, he and Carol bought a second home in Dennis, MA and he worked for Ocean Spray until his retirement in 1998.

The family is especially grateful to the wonderful VNA hospice team that helped to care for Brad in his last few months and became part of our family. But we will never be able to express how thankful we are and how wonderful it was that his daughter Kim put her life on hold to move in with him after mom passed, and dedicated her last 4 years to bring comfort and loving care to him which allowed him to stay in his home until the end.
