Born in Providence and raised in Pawtucket he was the youngest of three brother of Carmine and Lucy (Gravion) Zannini.
Ron graduated in 1963 from Tolman High School, Pawtucket. Soon after he joined the US Army where he became Sergeant and was honorably discharged. Ron worked for the Canteen Corp in Warwick, RI for 17 years and Brittany Dye & Printing in New Bedford for 20 years.
He enjoyed playing sports at McCoy Stadium and was an auto racing enthusiast. He also appreciated a variety of music and enjoyed attending many recording and local band concerts.
Ron is survived by two brothers, John Zannini and wife Joan and Richard Zannini and wife Marie. He is predeceased by his only child and beloved son, Derek who died of cancer after receiving his two COVID vaccines. He is also predeceased by his beloved half-brother, Anthony Campanile, who died recently and peacefully at age 91.
