Robert A. Forgue

He graduated from New Bedford Vocational High School as an electronic technician and worked as a Radio Technician for the Massachusetts State Police for many years, and spent the remainder of his career as a Radio Technician with Eversource Electric.

He was the eldest of six children of the late Joseph Arthur Forgue and Laurette F. (Brousseau) Forgue. He is survived by his wife of fifty years, Dianne (Hebert) Forgue, and four sisters, Pauline A. Bispo and her husband, Joe, of Murrells Inlet, SC, Attorney Susan Forgue Weiner and her husband, Stanley, of New Bedford, Elaine A. LaBelle and her husband, Richard, of Acushnet, and Christine T. Kelley and her husband, Steven of Murrells Inlet, SC. He was the brother of the late Rachel Szklany. He is survived by his sister-in-law, Rachel Hebert of New Bedford, and brother-in-law, Stephen Szklany, of Murrells Inlet. He is survived by many nieces and nephews. He was devoted to his entire family.

His visitation will be Thursday, June 29, 2023 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM in the Waring Sullivan Home at Dartmouth, 230 Russells Mills Road, Dartmouth. His funeral Mass will be held on Friday, June 30, 2023 at 11:00A.M. in Holy Name of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 121 Mt. Pleasant Street, New Bedford.
