Michael was born with a twinkle in his eye and a mischievous grin. His inability to be still when he was young earned him the nickname, Popcorn. He always had a big smile and an uncanny ability to make you laugh with his quick wit and endless jokes. He was a very generous person and an awesome handyman. If you needed a lending hand, you could always depend on him.
Popcorn was happiest spending time with his partner in crime of over 30 years, the love of his life and soul-mate, Tracy, and their children. They enjoyed listening to vinyls, going to concerts, and spending time with their friends. He was a Boston Sports enthusiast with his favorite team to watch being the Bruins. An avid music lover, Popcorns passion was playing guitar and he performed with many local bands. The last and his all time favorite being “Outta Kontrol”.
Skeeter, the nickname he received while working at L&S Concrete, had always been fascinated with big trucks, motorcycles, anything with wheels. He could mimic and imitate their sounds with precision. Skeeter truly enjoyed his job and took great pride in driving and keeping his cement truck spotless. He loved what he did and the people he worked with, whether it be his co-workers or the crews at the work-sites. Skeeter enjoyed being with and entertaining them.
Michael will be remembered as being a devoted and loving husband, father, son, brother and friend ; an awesome musician, a beacon of hilarity, the life of the party and someone who truly enjoyed the simpler things in life. He will stay within our hearts forever and the memory of his smile will comfort us on the most difficult days.
