David C. Thompson

David C. Thompson, 57, of Dartmouth passed away on Sunday, June 17, 2018 at Massachusetts General Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Suzanne (Guilbeault) Thompson with whom he shared over 40 years of happiness. David was the loving father of Sarah and her husband, Kasper, of Denmark.

Born in New Bedford, he was the son of the late John Edward and Dorothy (Jepson) Thompson.

David was the brother of John Thompson and his wife, Lorene, James Thompson and his wife, Susan and Jeffrey Thompson and his wife, Debbie, all of the Dartmouth area. He was the favorite uncle of many nieces and nephews.

He loved his cats Skittles and Cosmo, was an avid golfer, collected malt scotch and cigars, spending time with family, especially Sarah.

His visitation will be held on Friday, June 22, 2018 from 5:00 – 8:00 PM in the Waring-Sullivan Home at Dartmouth, 230 Russells Mills Rd., Dartmouth. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mass. General Hospital Blood Bank or the Red Cross. For tributes/directions: www.waring-sullivan.com
