Born in New Bedford, a daughter of the late Joseph and Maryann (Leblanc) Boucher, she was a life-long resident of the area and spent winters in Viera, FL.
Claire was a Homemaker and enjoyed traveling, gardening, cake decorating, Sudoku, knitting and sewing.
She is survived by one daughter, Roberta N. Rivet and her husband Leonard of Dartmouth and Viera, FL; one son, Michael P. Nicholas and his wife Christine of Lakeville; two grandchildren James Carolus of Dartmouth and Benjamin Nickolas of Washington and several nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Elaine N. Carolus. She was predeceased by her eight siblings.
Her visitation will be held on Friday, October 5, 2018, from 10:00 to 11:00 am in St. Julie Billiart Church, 494 Slocum Road, Dartmouth, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her honor may be made to St. Julie Billiart Church. Arrangements are in the care of Waring-Sullivan @ Dartmouth, 230 Russells Mills Road, Dartmouth.
