Norman worked for 28 years as a Letter Carrier for the United States Postal Service, retiring in 1989. After retirement, he continued to serve the community at the information desk at PrimaCare. A proud veteran of the United States Army, he served during the Korean Conflict.
Norman enjoyed golf, bowling, clamming, and most of all, spending time with his family.
Survivors include his children: Paula Polak and her husband Raymond of Somerset and Scott N. Levesque and his wife Michelle of Waterford, CT; his grandchildren: Lisa Pacheco and her husband Edward, Christopher Polak and his wife Jessica, Ashley Brown and her husband Christopher and Anna Levesque and her partner Stephanie; his great grandchildren: Edward Pacheco and his wife Marissa, Lauren Scott and her husband David, Courtney Simoes and her husband Javier, Christopher Polak, Jr. And his fiancée Grace, Tanner Brown and Tucker Brown; his great great granddaughter, Olivia Pacheco and many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Joseph Levesque, Gertrude Turner and Muriel Langfield.
His funeral will be held Monday, January 6, 2025, at 9:00 AM from the Waring-Sullivan Home at Rose E. Sullivan, 866 County Street, Somerset followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM at St. Thomas More Church, Luther Avenue, Somerset. Relatives and friends are invited. Visitation will be held Sunday, January 5, 2025, from 3:00 to 5:00 PM. Burial will be private.
