Born in Fall River, a daughter of the late Bronislaw and Jennie (Golembiewski) Dybowski, she was a life-long resident of the area.
Mrs. Murphy enjoyed gardening.
She was predeceased by her daughter Cheryl J. Murphy and brothers, Henry, Joseph, Bob and Edward Dybowski.
She is survived by her daughter, Colleen Murphy-Lockhead and her husband Richard of Quincy; three grandchildren, Kimberly Majoy, Kelly Walter and Christopher Lockhead; six great grandchildren, Avery, Emily, Faye, Hayden, Stella and Liam and several nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be held Saturday, March 30, 2019 at 9:00 AM from the Waring-Sullivan Home at Rose E. Sullivan, 866 County St., Somerset, followed by her funeral mass at 10:00 AM in St. Thomas More Church, 386 Luther Ave., Somerset. Visiting hours, Friday 5:00 to 7:00 PM. Burial in Notre Dame Cemetery, Fall River.
