Marion E. Ramsey

Marion E. (Hook) Ramsey, 84, of N. Syracuse, passed away Thursday, September 15th at Iroquois Nursing Home. She was born in Burnside, PA to the late John and Helen (Oship) Hook in 1932. Marion was a medical secretary at Upstate Medical Center for many years before retiring and was a dedicated member of Jehovah’s Witnesses. She was predeceased by her parents, a son, Jeffrey, 2 brothers, Charles John Hook and Dennis Hook and her former husband, Bryce Ramsey.

Marion is survived by 4 sons; Bradley (Susan), of Kirkville, Douglas (Christine), of NC, Timothy, of NC and Gregory (Barbara), of Clinton, 6 grandchildren, 1 great grandson, sister; Irene Hook, of Syracuse, 2 sisters-in-law; Jean Hook and Karen Hook, and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held 3 pm Saturday, September 24, 2016 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 7332 Buckley Rd., N. Syracuse, NY 13212. Family and friends may call from 2 to 3 pm at the Kingdom Hall prior to services. BAGOZZI TWINS FUNERAL HOME, Solvay has care of arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 7332 Buckley Rd., N. Syracuse, NY 13212.
