William Henry Eskridge III

Renton, WA — William Henry (Bill) Eskridge, III passed away on February 3, 2023 after a lengthy illness. He was 72. Bill was born in Charlotte, NC. He was preceded in death by his parents Elizabeth and William (Skeet) Eskridge. He was a member of Sardis Presbyterian Church, a graduate of East Mecklenburg High School and of UNC Chapel Hill. After moving to Seattle, he enjoyed a long and successful career as a purchasing agent in the aerospace industry. Bill was a man of great faith, kindness, and humor. He loved people, hiking, and the Great Northwest.

Bill is survived by his son Will Eskridge and Lylan of Kent, WA by his daughter Elissa Eskridge and David of Costa Rica, and his sisters Stanley Spain of Southport, NC and Lynda Cardo and Jim of Johns Island, SC. His loss will be greatly felt by his many cousins, nieces, nephews, friends, coworkers and by everyone who ever experienced the joy of his infectious laugh. Bill’s family wishes to express our gratitude to the doctors, nurses, caregivers, and Hospice for their extraordinary care and support.

We are so thankful for the many prayers for Bill and especially for the outpouring of love and prayers from his church family in Everett, WA.
