Scott grew up in the Pacific Northwest, where his fascination with planes began at a young age. His curiosity about how things worked led him to taking things apart and putting them back together. He was so handy; he could do anything. This led him to enlist in the Air Force, where he worked on B52 Bombers. After his military service, Scott joined the Millwright Union, which eventually led to careers at Kimberly-Clark and Boeing.
Scott had a wide array of hobbies, including brewing beer, making sourdough bread, painting miniatures, and playing Dungeons and Dragons with his friends. Recently, he had also developed a love for golf. He cherished watching his children play sports, and he had a deep love for Star Wars, Marvel, The Beatles, Disneyland, the ocean, music, and movies. He remained a big kid at heart throughout his life.
Known for his thoughtfulness and generosity, Scott was always ready to help anyone in need, regardless of the time or place. He was a caretaker to many, especially his family and friends, and had a remarkable ability to connect with people. His humor and quick wit were well-known and cherished by all who knew him.
Scott's greatest pride was his family. He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Norma; his children, Kyle (21) and Jillian (19); his parents, Don and Joanne Knobbs, and Laurel Seymour; his sister, Debbie (Joe); brothers Scott (Amy) and Cyan (Iris); his Aunt Kelly; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Irv Seymour.
A celebration of life will be held on July 27th at the Lake Stevens Community Center at 8021 20th ST SE, Lake Stevens, 98258 from 1-4 pm.
