Bea & I met at a Cancer Support Group at Virginia Mason Hospital several years ago. I loved her from the moment I laid eyes on her beautiful smile & radiant, other worldly face.  I also felt that I had a "partner in crime," sharing our Catholic faith together & deepening our connection on a spiritual level.

I will always remember her resilience, courage, faith, love, resourcefulness & willingness to try yet another treatment in hopes of achieving her short & long term dreams with Tony. She was a true inspiration to ALL of us in our group. I will miss her immeasurably. 

My only consolation is to be reunited with her one day in heaven & to know that until that day, I can call on her for her continued help & intercession from heaven.

My love & prayers to Tony, Penelope & all of your families. God bless you all. 

Bea era veramente una donna bellissima, dolce, rispettosa e sempre col sorriso sulle labbra. Ricordiamo i giochi, gli scherzi, le risate tra i banchi di scuola, il suo amore per gli animali e la natura.
Il suo coraggio e la sua forza possono solo esserci da esempio.

Bea was light, Bea was joy, Bea was strong willed, and Bea was kind. Her smile and that sparkle in her eyes were quick to show, and she loved to laugh. I will miss her teasing and her big grins, and I’m glad I got to know her and sing with her. I’ll never forget how she thought Amy, Erin, and I were sisters before we got to know her. :) You will be missed, Bea. XO

Beatrice, our angel in Heaven! Being around Beatrice, you felt like you were in the presence of a spiritual flower whose fragrance permeated right through the soul. She beamed with joy and freely gave love and kindness to all who were lucky enough to cross her path. She was a living saint, one who suffered unspeakable pain, but would never complain or mention her discomforts. She bore it all with dignity, humility, and a gorgeous smile. She blessed all the lives that surrounded her, especially her family's. I know she is rejoicing in Heaven with Jesus and His Blessed Mother, but for those left here on Earth we ache for her early departure. We wait to be reunited with our beautiful Beatrice. Eternal rest grant unto her, Oh Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her, may she rest in peace, Amen.

It is painful to say that during the early morning of Monday September 6th my sister Bea Zorzi vanished from this earth at the young age of 37, after battling breast cancer for 9 years. Her passing still came unexpectedly and too early! She left an immensurable void and will be forever remembered as the social, active, and determined fighter she was until the very end.
Bea was social. During her college years at Gonzaga University I would visit her often. She was a RA (resident assistant) with a large apartment, was selected to be a GU Seton (women’s service club), and seemed to know everyone on campus, even the tall good-looking basketball players she tutored in Italian. During her cancer treatments, she could easily brighten the day of other patients, giving them hope and recommendations on cancer fighting foods. In our family she often started the email thread to get us organized for upcoming get-togethers. 
Bea was active. She did cross country in middle and high school, and enjoyed the gym in college and beyond. When after college we worked and lived together, she introduced me to kickboxing class on Monday and Wednesday evenings, and indoor cycling on Saturday mornings. She always pushed herself so hard and kicked my butt! She loved workout music, dancing, singing. She had an angelic voice and was member of the SundaysAt7 choir at the UW Newman center, where she met her husband, Tony Lew.
Bea was determined. She was an excellent student and was accepted into medical school. She used to say “I am learning to be a patient before I become a doctor.” Throughout her difficult journey with cancer, Bea was unceasingly positive and persistent in finding a way to heal. Her will to heal was inspiring and rooted in her strong faith in God’s mercy. When I checked on her she never complained, and on any bad day her famous response was “don’t worry, I am having a healing reaction!” 
Bea, social, active, determined, you have taught me so much and will be forever in my heart!

My sister-in-law, Bea, served as my wedding Bible scripture reader. She was a wonderful woman who will definitely be missed.
