Steve W (Dinkey, Brewster) Whitman, 57, of Monroe, Georgia, lost his brave battle with cancer on June 29, 2024. Formerly of Snellville, he was a graduate of South Gwinnett High School and prior to moving to Monroe, he resided at Lake Sinclair in Eatonton. After graduation, he had various employers including Shannon Installation in Loganville where he traveled over the country for many years. His last employer was Anthony International in Conyers.
He was preceded in death by his father, Steve E Whitman and brother Jason M Whitman. He is survived by his mother, Gayle Moore Whitman, sister Brandi Whitman Porter, nephew Brannon (Mo) Whitman, nieces Jaci and Edin Carvalho, aunts, uncles and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests you to make a donation to your favorite charity or to do a kind deed for someone in Steve’s memory.
A visitation for Steven will be held Tuesday, July 2, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Eternal Hills Funeral Home, 3594 Stone Mountain Highway, Snellville, GA 30039. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, July 3, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Eternal Hills Funeral Home.
