November 9, 1957 to January 28, 2023
Born to Edna Sue Coltson and Danny Coker in Dalton Georgia. The only child and much loved.
She met her husband, Darrell, when they were both 18. Together they chose a life with Jesus Christ. They were married September 2nd, 1978 ands later sealed in the Washington D.C. temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Judy and Darrell raised 4 beautiful kids together. She loved cheering her kids and grandkids on in all of their activities. She was everyone's biggest supporter. Her favorite hobbies were tennis and gardening. Her passions included traveling, classic rock, and cheering n the Georgia Bulldogs and Atlanta Braves. She was very smart and graduated in the top of he class as an RN in 1994. Her specialty was pediatric intensive care.
Judy's struggle with health began in 2000. She fought to the very end, living many years past the life expectancy given by doctors. She passed away at home in her sleep the morning of January 28th, 2023.
Judy is survived by her husband of 44 years Darrell, four children Danielle (Andrew) Strong, Rees (Kate) Smith, Megan (Jared) Houghton and Brooke Smith, six grandchildren Brooklyn, London, Aspen, Holland, Ethan and Daniel. She loved her family and was so proud of all of them.
Memorial service held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Snellville building
Saturday February 4th at 4 pm.
