James Edwin Cadwell Sr.

James Edwin Cadwell Sr., age 87, of Loganville, Georgia passed away on Thursday, February 24, 2022. He was born May 24, 1934 in Johnson City, NY to Lloyd and Anna Cadwell. James proudly served his country in 2 branches of the military, serving 4 years in the United States Navy and 16 years in the United States Air Force. He was a man of faith and former member of Greenforest Baptist , Annistown Baptist, Mountain Park First Baptist and Woodlake Baptist Churches.

Mr. Cadwell is preceded in death by his parents and his brother Kenneth F. Cadwell.

Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Helen C. Bradway Cadwell, daughter Ann C. Whitaker and husband Ricky of Loganville, son James E. Cadwell, Jr. of Loganville, grandsons Ryan E. Whitaker of Loganville, Garrett A. Whitaker of Loganville and Austin J. "AJ" Whitaker of Winder, great grandchildren Faith A. Wells of Loganville, Evelyn Sanders of Snellville, Drayton McDaniel of Winder and Axle J. Whitaker of Winder, brother Thomas Cadwell of Tacoma, WA and sister-in-law Jeannette Cadwell of Covington.

A visitation for James will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Eternal Hills Funeral Home, 3594 Stone Mountain Highway, Snellville, GA 30039, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM in the Eternal Hills Funeral Home Chapel.
