Geraldine Fullwood, affectionately known as “Geri,” was born on December 13, 1946, to Frederick Demings and Mabel Smith-Demings in River Rouge, Michigan. She graduated from River Rouge High School in 1965. She eventually married and had three daughters. She relocated to Columbia, SC, where she had a successful career of over 20 years in the medical field with Richland Memorial Hospital, and she retired in 2012. She was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Lawrenceville, GA. She loved the Lord and professed his name in all that she did. She committed her life to serving others, leaving a lasting impact on everyone she encountered. She was a positive source of inspiration and encouragement. Her presence instantly lifted any room that she walked in.
Geraldine is preceded in life by her mother, father, and older brothers, Fred Demings III and Melvin Demings. She is survived by a host of family and friends, including her twin brother Gerald Demings and younger brother Barry Demings, her daughters Vallory Ginn (Bernard Ginn Sr.), Natalie R. Williams (Pacian Williams, Sr.), and Monica Wentworth (Ty Wentworth), and ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
The family expresses their immense gratitude for all of those who supported and loved her.

A funeral service for Geraldine will be held Saturday, May 25, 2024 from 1:00 PM at Eternal Hills Funeral Home, 3594 Stone Mountain Highway, Snellville, GA 30039. Prior to the funeral the family will greet friends from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. Geraldine will be laid to rest at Melwood Cemetery, Stone Mountain, GA.
