He was born January 11, 1987 in Waterville, Maine, the son of Michael C. Demo and Marie (Quirion) Harding.
At the age of 7, Jesse dreamed of playing professional hockey in the NHL; however as he grew up he realized that his small stature would prevent him from doing so. In spite of his size he continued to follow his dream all the way through high school. It was in high school that he found his true passion: harnessing electricity.
Jesse graduated from Skowhegan Area High School in the Class of 2006 and then went onto graduate from Kennebec Valley Community College in 2008 from the Electrical Lineworker Technology Program.
He went on to work for On Target and then became a member of the IBEW Local Union #104 his favorite things in the world to do were to climb high line poles and drive the trucks.
Jesse also loved being outdoors, hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, four-wheeling and riding dirt bikes.
Jesse leaves behind his mom, Marie Harding and her husband William of Winslow; his dad, Michael Demo and his wife Karen of Canaan; his maternal grandfather, Felix Quirion and his companion Francine Berry of Madison; his paternal grandparents, Michael and Carol Demo of Canaan; one brother, Jimmy Quirion and his wife Brittany of Vassalboro; his step-sister, Cherie Curtis of Canaan; his step brother, Jeff Chetkauskas and his wife Linda of Waterville; his aunts and uncles, Thomas Demo and his wife Cindy of Palmyra, Karen Demo of Skowhegan, Sylvie Quirion of Alfred, Pierre and Mary Quirion of Skowhegan, Micheline Quirion and Rex Lagle of Somersworth, NH, Roger Quirion of Skowhegan, Mark and Kelly Quirion of Skowhegan, Richard and Cathy Quirion of Skowhegan, Bruce and Diane Quirion of Norridgewock, Christine Longley of Skowhegan, Anthony and Anna Quirion of Skowhegan; many cousins, Jenny and Phil Collin of Wells, Nicolle and Nick Raitt of Lebanon, Kuper Demo, Chad Demo, Luke Quirion, Joey Quirion, André Quirion, Andrea Quirion, Rex Lagle, Daniel Quirion, Renée Quirion, Chanté Quirion, Tyler Longley, Malcolm Harmon, Jacob Quirion, Ryan Quirion, and Matthew Quirion.
He was predeceased by his maternal grandmother Fleurianne Quirion, his uncle Eric Quirion and his cousin Andrew Quirion.
Jesse will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Viewing hours will be held on Friday, December 1, 2017 from 2 to 4 and from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Smart & Edwards Funeral Home, 183 Madison Ave., Skowhegan, Maine. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at 1 p.m. at the Notre Dame de Lourdes Catholic Church; Water St., Skowhegan, Maine a burial will follow the service at the Calvary Cemetery in Skowhegan, Maine.
