James W. Lyman III, 67, of Norridgewock, passed away on Sunday, December 22, 2013 at Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor. He was born January 10, 1946 in Lowell, MA to James W. II and Maude (Turcotte) Lyman.
He served in the United States Air Force, where he received the National Defense Service Medal and the Air Force Good Conduct Medal. He worked as a Business Analyst and Marketing Engineer for National Semiconductor and Fairchild Semiconductor for many years. He enjoyed watching football, hockey, and movies. James was the happiest when surrounded by his family. He cherished and loved all his children.
He was known by family and friends for his sense of humor.
He is survived by 5 children, Christal Lyman of York, Me, Michelle Masison and her husband Al of MA, Pam Lyman of NH, and twins Michael and Samantha Lyman of Skowhegan, 2 grandchildren, Alexa Lyman of Farmington and A.J. Masison of MA, his mother, Maude Therrien of FL, 1 sister, Donna Goins of FL, and one niece, Kelly Anne Shrieves of FL.
