Beth Marie Austin

She was born September 28, 1957 in Skowhegan, Maine, the daughter of Virginia (Berry) and Harvey Austin Jr.

Beth was educated in Skowhegan Schools.

She spent most of her life as a homemaker.

Beth loved doing crafts, going shopping and she especially loved spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her children; Donald Roderick and his wife Lori of Winslow, Virginia Roderick and her companion John Massey of New Haven, CT, two brothers; Rocky Austin and his wife Pam of Vienna, Harvey Austin and his wife Trisha of Skowhegan, one sister; Tammy Rines and her husband Tim of Cornville, three grandchildren; Zack, Octavia, Jazzie and Michael, many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents Harvey Jr. and Virginia Austin, one grandson John Massey Jr., and one sister Lisa Austin.

A memorial service will be held on Monday December 12, 2011 at 1 pm at Smart & Edwards Funeral Home, 183 Madison Ave., Skowhegan, Maine with a burial to follow at Oak Cemetery in Norridgewock with Rev. Richard Berry and Pastor John Davis officiating.
