Marlene Cheryl Shirmane Jarvis-Myers

Marlene “Cheryl” Jarvis-Myers, formally of Silver Spring, MD, and St. John’s Antigua, passed away on Wednesday, 26th April 2023. She is survived by her husband, Robert Myers, her daughter Danielle Myers, her son Rhys Livingstone, the Jarvis family of Antigua and Barbuda, the Caines family of Dominica, and the Myers family of St. Vincent and the Grenadines. She is predeceased by her son Andre “Sweety Pea” Myers.

She was a loving wife, mother, aunt, and provider to her friends and family. Cheryl is remembered for being a compassionate and vivacious person who demonstrated her love for others. Her buoyant personality will be missed by many.

The funeral service for Marlene “Cheryl” Jarvis-Myers will be held on Thursday, 18th May 2023, at the Southern Asian Seventh-Day Adventist Church located at 2001 East Randolph Road, Silver Spring, Maryland 20904. The viewing will begin at 9:00 am, and the funeral service will begin at 10:00 am. Her burial will follow at Meadowridge Memorial Park, 7250 Washington Boulevard, Elkridge, Maryland 21075.

The family encourages everyone to write their tributes on the memorial site. Funeral attendees are encouraged to wear “garden” colors in honor of Cheryl’s love of flowers and plants.
