Juanita A. Thompson

November 24, 1936 - September 25, 2018

Beloved wife of the late Stephen A. Thompson passed away at Holy Cross Hospital surrounded by her family.

She was the loving mother of Stephen M. Thompson (Tracy Garner-Thompson), Dennis R. Thompson (Tina), Adele R. Thompson, Junaita L. Cerullo (Joseph), James T. Thompson (Kristen Rottweiler Garns) and the late John A. Thompson. Adored grandmother of 15 and great grandmother of 14. Sister of James B. Jackson (Joan) and sister-in-law of Elizabeth Dinsmore (Robert "Dinny"). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Juanita attended St. Dominic's Catholic Schools and worked for many years at Judd and Detweiler's Printing Company, Washington Dulles Airport and most recently Vista/Bernstein Property Management Company.

Juanita played a very active part in the Southwest Club of Washington DC. She will forever be remembered for her loving heart, giving spirit, her sparkling blue eyes, beautiful smile and her delicious cakes.

Juanita never met a stranger. Hers was a rich life filled with love and friendship. She will be greatly missed by her family and all who loved her.

Services will be held at St. Andrew Apostle Catholic Church, 11600 Kemp Mill Road, Silver Spring MD 20902 on Friday, September 28, 2018 at 10:30 AM.
