Barbara Martin

On July 27, 2021, Barbara H. Martin of Laurel, Maryland passed away with loved ones by her side, in the comfort of her daughter Ada’s home in Silver Spring, MD. Barbara, was called to rest just four months following her husband of 69 years. Barbara’s passion was her husband, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, as well as her extended family. She devoted her life to her family and her love was felt deeply by us all.

Left to treasure her memory are her daughters Janet Martin, Theresa Jones (husband Jerome), Ada Martin, Gina Martin, her sons William, and John (wife Janel). Her sisters Teresa M. Suter (husband William), Cora M. Washington (husband Gene), brothers John T. Marshall, Tandy W. Marshall (wife Linda), her brother-in-law Edwin P. Martin (wife Bonnie). Her thirty grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband Reginald F. Martin, Jr., her son Reginald F. Martin, III, her father William E. Henderson, her mother Ada B. Marshall, her sister Taundra P. Marshall, her brothers William (Butch) E. Henderson, Jr., Joseph A. Marshall, and her grandson Rodrick Todd Buckner.

Services will be held Friday August 6th, 2021 at Hines-Rinaldi Funeral Home, 11800 New Hampshire Ave. Silver Spring, MD 20904. Visitation at 10:00 a.m. until time of Service at 12:00 p.m. Interment following service at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 13801 Georgia Ave. Silver Spring, MD 20906.
