I've written about how much I adored Ann Rita, but this is a request from her kids and grandkids:  Is there any chance you have a photo of Luck Goldberg, Ann Rita's dad, in his Redskins marching band uniform?  I've been told he played the cymbals.  The new Capital Jewish Museum (being built right now at 3rd and F Streets, NW) would love a copy!

Ann Rita was my much-loved cousin since my mom took me with her for a restaurant lunch with Ann Rita.  I remember thinking she had the best zest for life of anyone I'd ever met.  Her dad, my Uncle Luck--who was a gift to the world--was my grandmother's beloved brother.  That lunch was about 65 years ag,o, before Ann Rita fell in love with Stanley, so it was before the start of her wonderfully happy marriage.  We rarely saw each other over the years, but when I got older we made it a point to talk every year or so, loving every minute of our phone calls.  Ann Rita adored my parents...and I adored hers...and we would laugh and catch up, and reminisce for about a half-hour on each call.  I never knew anyone who loved life and her family more than Ann Rita.  May her memory be a blessing.

I always enjoyed working with Ann Rita at Hadassah events and meetings. She was a tireless volunteer for the organization even when she could only work from home. She will be missed.

As a 5-generation Hadassah member and now President of the Neshama chapter, I want to send heartfelt condolences to your family on the loss of such a great woman and longtime, devoted Hadassah member.  I know Ann will be greatly missed by many.  God bless her for all she did to keep Hadassah’s mission going strong.  May her memory be for a comfort and blessing to all that knew and loved her.
