Born September 21, 1938, in Linden, TN., to the late Rubery and Hazel Dunn Stinnett.
On October 22, 1960 in Sikeston, MO., he married Barbara Grimes Stinnett, who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: two sons and one daughter-in-law, Tom and Lori Stinnett of Sikeston, MO., and Phillip Stinnett of Sikeston, MO.; one brother, Bob Stinnett of Sikeston, MO.; one sister, Julia Ballew of Olympia, WA; two grandchildren, Hannah and (Hunt) Hearin of Winter Garden, FL., and Zac Stinnett of Sikeston, MO.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Ruth Coleman and Mary Lou Montgomery.
Visitation will be Friday August 9, 2019 from 12:00 p.m. until the time of funeral service at 1:00 p.m. at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston, MO. with Rev. William C. Fox, officiating. Burial will follow at Armer Cemetery in Bertrand, MO.
