Lois Andrew

Mildred Lois Andrew, 87, of Matthews, passed away December 11, 2015, at Sells Nursing Center in Matthews. Born March 14, 1928, in Bloomfield, to the late Edward and Lelia Crain Sifford, she served as the city clerk for the City of Matthews for eighteen years and was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Matthews. On May 17, 1958, in Bloomfield, she married Charles Andrew, who preceded her in death on June 25, 1999.

She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, David and Connie Andrew of Killen, Ala.; one grandson, Michael Andrew; two granddaughters, Hollie Fodge and Jessica Andrew; and five great grandchildren, Erik Andrew, Cody Andrew, Jason Andrew, Madalyn Fodge and Dylan Fodge.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one son, Darin Andrew, who passed away on December 10, 1976.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 -10:45 a.m. on Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at the Nunnelee Funeral Chapel.

Graveside services will follow under the direction of Nunnelee Funeral Chapel at 11:00 a.m. at the Sikeston Memorial Park Cemetery, with Rev. John Stepp, officiating.

Pallbearers will be Freddie Daniels, Timmy Daniels, Chucky Daniels, Kenny Johnson, Armon Porter and Tommy Romines.
