James Marshall

Jim was born June 9, 1953 in Fort Riley, Kansas. He is the son of Tom and Judy Marshall and the late Phyllis Ann Marshall. He is survived by his two brothers and sister-in-laws, Mike and Beth Marshall, Bob and Theresa Marshall; his niece Catherine (John) Laningham, and nephews Austin (Margaret) Marshall, Matt (Betty) Marshall, and Robbie (Dana) Marshall.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Thomas Austin Marshall, Jr.

Jim was a cattleman who loved music, all animals and especially dogs. Jim was also an avid reader who had a big heart and will be missed by family and friends.

In 1976, Jim graduated from Westminster College with a degree in history and psychology. He was a member of the Phi Delta Theta fraternity. Jim was a member of the Catholic faith.

Pallbearers will be: Hunter Moore, Don Culberson, Mike Limbaugh, Steve Brase, Jamie Tharp, Henry Gross, Frank Marshall, and David Dolan.

Visitation will be Wednesday, April 6, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. and followed by a service at 11:00 a.m. at St. Francis Xavier Church with Father Colby Elbert officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial donations may be made to St. Francis Xavier School.
