Helen D. Dockins-Boze of Bell City, MO, at the age of 90, has passed away at her home surrounded by family. Helen was born July 7, 1928, in Monet, AR to the late William T. and Plummer Jane Dowdy Brown she was the second youngest of four children. On March 2, 1997 she married Clarence Boze, in Mammoth, AZ, he preceded her in death on December 5, 2013. Helen had two brothers precede her in death Bill Brown in 1976 and Oather Brown of Hayti, MO in 2005. Helen's youngest son Jerry (Mike) Dockins also preceded her in death November of 2017. Helen's oldest brother Onis Brown of Cape Girardeau, MO and oldest son Terry M. Dockins of Sikeston, MO still survives her. Helen also has three grandchildren that survived her Matt (Rhonda) of Scott City, MO , Myka of Sikeston, MO and Mallory (Marty) of Bell City, MO. She also has three great grandchildren as well that she loved, adored and enjoyed time with. Helen worked many years as a store clerk at a small grocery store in Bell City, MO while raising her two sons after that she moved on to work for Stoddard County Juvenile Services before her retirement. Helen attended Bell City Church of Christ for many years and even after she moved to Mammoth , AZ for a brief time she still attended church there. Helen and Clarence returned to Bell City, MO where they spent their retirement days seeing their children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and late husband preceding her in death, Helen's first husband Milton Dockins also preceded her in death 1968.
Visitation will be held Tuesday January 8, 2019 at 4:00 p.m. until the time of funeral service at 6:00 p.m. at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston, MO.,with Rev. Jason Schrieber, officiating.
