Glenn Alan Rogers, 72, of Charleston, died February 5, 2015, at his home. Born July 1, 1942, in Canalou, to the late Glenn and Naomi Muffett Rogers, he held a degree in ministry, and had pastored at several churches in the area. He was a member of the Charleston Baptist Association and the First Baptist Church of Canalou. On July 19, 1963, in Oran, he married Cleo “Kathy” Martin, who survives of the home.
Additional survivors include: three sons and two daughters-in-law, Martin Alan Rogers of Charleston, Stephen and Michelle Rogers of Omaha, Nebraska, and Karey and Shania Rogers of Charleston; one daughter and son-in-law, RaEllen and Dewayne Kiefer of Charleston; and two sisters and brothers-in-law, Anita and Dave Davis of Portland, Oregon, and Laurel and Ben Howes of Cleveland, Ohio. Also surviving are 12 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, February 10, at the Nunnelee Funeral Chapel.
A memorial service will follow at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday at the First Baptist Church of Canalou, with Bro. Dewayne Coleman, pastor, officiating.
