ROSS, Gordon Kirk-68, of Truro formerly of Middle Musquodoboit passed away peacefully Tuesday November 9th, 2010 at the Colchester Regional Hospital surrounded by family. Born in South Branch, he was the son of Elizabeth and the late Daniel Ross. He is survived by his wife Ruth (Dean),Truro, son Dan (Lindsay) grandsons Nolan and Tyson of Port Coquitlam, B. C., brother Walter, Middle Musquodoboit, sisters Elaine Eisenhauer (Lawrence)of Lower Sackville, Katherine Carroll (Clayton) of Upper Stewiacke, Claire Shannon (Ernie) of Onslow, brother-in-law Gordon, sisters-in-law Verna, Helen and Hazel, numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, brother Donald and a sister-in law Bonnie. Gord served with the Canadian Army and was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Truro Branch, also a member of the Truro Men’s Club. He was a thirty year employee of Mack Canada. Cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation by request. Funeral services will take place 2PM Monday November 15th, 2010 at Middleton United Church, Middle Musquodoboit with Rev. Annika Sangster officiating. Burial will take place in the Pioneer Cemetery.
