Ryan graduated from Assumption High School in 1991. He served in the USAF in California and Shreveport, LA. He received several awards and commendations including the Airman of the Year Award. He had the honor of escorting President Clinton off of Air Force One in Shreveport. He worked at AT&T as a technician, a supervisor, and currently as an Engineer.
He is preceded in death by his grandmother Betty Reese and grandfather Thomas Luedtke. He is survived by his wife, Shelia Reese; two sons, Loren Reese, and Chance Reese; one daughter, Holly Reese; parents, Terry and Denise Reese; grandmother , Doris Luedtke; grandfather, Ronald Reese; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins; special cousin Amy Bender; best friend , Brian Mills, Shreveport friends, Jimmy Blackburn and loyal technician, Brian Tannehill.
He loved Shelia, Chan, Lolo, and Roley more than life itself. He loved his families in Shreveport, LA and Wisconsin. He would laugh with all his dad and uncles, and talked about all the fun times they shared when in Wisconsin. He loved his parents and talked to them on the weekends. He was a member of University Church of Christ in Shreveport, LA and loved his Huntington Park Church of Christ family.
Visitation will be held at Centuries Funeral Home, 8801 Mansfield Rd. Shreveport, LA 71108 on Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Services will be conducted Thursday, January 9, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. Officiating will be Rev. Jerry Hodge. Interment will follow in Centuries Memorial Park.
