Shreveport, LA- Services celebrating the life of Ramon Trujillo, 50, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 31, 2016 at Willow Point Baptist Church in Shreveport, LA. Officiating will be Dr. Billy Stevens. Interment will follow at Centuries Memorial Park in Shreveport. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 30, 2016 from 5-7 p.m. at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home.
Ramon Eugene Trujillo was born on May 12, 1965 and went to be with our heavenly father on Friday, March 25, 2016. Ramon was an active member of the Shreveport-Bossier community. He owned and operated his own business, R.E.T. Remodeling, served as President of Cinco De Mayo Inc., was the Vice-President of the League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC) council #16001 and co-director of the La Cima Ark-La-Tex Bilingual Leadership Program. He will be remembered for his contagious smile and sharp sense of humor.
Ramon was preceded in death by his father, Luis Trujillo; mother, Dolores Trujillo and brother, Victor Trujillo.
Ramon leaves behind his wife of 26 years, Cynthia Trujillo; daughters, Tiffany Trujillo, Amanda Robertson, Rebecca Trujillo and Robin Trujillo; son, Ramon Trujillo, II and companion Grecia Gonzales; son, Ross Trujillo; brothers, Luis Mata, Joe Martinez, Armando Trujillo and wife Xan and Jerry Trujillo; sisters, Lolis Guerra, Lenora Forsse and husband Jeff, Dora Rogers, Mary Tanner and husband David and Kathy Donaghey and husband Barry; four grandsons, Blayne, Ethan, Ronin and John; two granddaughters, Mariah and Demi; 13 nephews, 13 nieces and numerous other extended family and friends.
Honoring Ramon as pallbearers will be his nephews, Armando Trujillo, Jr., Jerry Trujillo, Jr., Jeffrey Forsse and Jose Narvaez; cousin, Jesse Armenta, III and family friend Charles Brickett. Honorary pallbearer will be long-time friend, Cris Wilkerson.
The family is thankful for the loving and tender care of the surgeons, doctors and nurses at the Willis-Knighton John C. McDonald Regional Transplant Center.
