Patricia Turner Nunley

Services will be held at 12:00 PM on Dec. 9, 2015 at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home, 8801 Mansfield Rd., in Shreveport, interment to follow Centuries Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 11:00-12:00 prior to the service.

Pat was a follower of Jesus, a devoted wife, a caring mother, an amazing grandmother and great grandmother, and a wonderful friend. A fighter, she beat cancer numerous times. She lived a simple life, loving every minute of it, and was loved by everyone. Pat loved working various jobs, meeting life long friends. She had an insatiable love for reading, as well as the outdoors. Pat had a love for life and her family that you could see, even through her darkest times.

Survived by her loving husband, Johnny Nunley, daughters Becki Bass (Keith), Bonnie Lee (Clay), and Lynette Bailey (Gary), brother Sid Turner (Geraley), sister-in-law Linda Poindexter (Lonnie), grandsons Trey, Keith Jr., Joey (Kelly), Alex (Brea), Caleb, Madison, Walker, and Cole, and great-grandchildren Hartley and Tyson and niece Darcy (David).

Proceeded in death by parents, Eugene and Shirley Turner and son, Lee Joseph Boudreaux, Jr., In-Laws, Leon and Marie Nunley.

Thank you to Dr. Maxwell McDonald/staff, Dr. Nichols/staff, Progressive Care, Staff at Willis Knighton Cancer and Medical Center, Hospice of Shreveport-Bossier, Pastor Landry, Linda Jones and her church family from Bethany Baptist Church and all of the friends and family that have been with her and praying for her.
