Mildred Joyce Hamil

A visitation for Mildred will be held Saturday, November 19, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home, 8801 Mansfield Road, Shreveport, Louisiana 71108, followed by a graveside service at 2:00 PM. She will be laid to rest in Centuries Memorial Park. Honoring her as pallbearers will be her grandkids.

Mrs. Hamil was born February 19, 1955 in Shreveport, Louisiana to John Wesley Lambright and Mildred Lowanda Lambright. She was called to her heavenly home November 16, 2022 surrounded by her family. Mrs. Hamil enjoyed spending time with family and her dog, Babygirl.

Mrs. Hamil was preceded in death by her husband, Guy Hamil; son, Chad Lambright; parents and her brother, Johnny Lambright.

Left to cherish Mrs. Hamil's memory and tell her stories will be her sisters, Juanita Dean and husband, Bill, JoAnn Warner and husband, Ted, Patti Hall and husband, Steve, Brenda McComic and husband, Gregory, and Patricia Kovacs and fiancé, Joseph Mitchell; brother, Edward Ward; her son, Glenn Alan Lambright; daughters, Lori Ellen Curnell and Dwan Hamil Lawson and husband, Christopher Dane Lawson; grandkids, Chelsea Lambright, Wesley Lambright, Dillon Lambright, Joseph Lawson, Kaylee Hamil, Lathan Lambright, Caleb Lawson and Ruby Halverson; six great-grandchildren and multiple nieces and nephews.
