Services to celebrate the life of Margaret Lucky Shutt, 97, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, July 24, 2010, at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Centuries Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. prior to the service.

Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Posey Lucky; husband, Harry G. Shutt, Jr.; son, Harry G. Shutt, III; brother, William Edwin “Jack” Lucky; and niece, Jacqueline Smith. Left to cherish her memory are her daughter-in-law, Kathryn Shutt of Lewisville, TX; granddaughter, Wendi Fling of Castle Rock, CO; grandson, Mr. and Mrs. Eric G. Shutt of Lewisville, TX; great-grandchildren, Mara, Mason and Grace Fling of Castle Rock, CO; and Rivers and Naomi Shutt of Lewisville, TX; niece, Mrs. Jerilyn Elliot and family of Mt. Pleasant, TX; nephew, Mr. Roger Smith and family of Coppell, TX; niece, Mrs. Susan Hightower and family of Mt. Pleasant, TX; cousins, Mr. Dick Lucky and family of Shreveport, LA; Betty Sue and Percy Thomas of Shreveport, LA; Mrs. Dora Elizabeth Crawford of Shreveport, LA; and Mrs. Marguerite Shutt Sebren of Florence, MS. She is also survived by her many treasured friends at Willow Point Baptist Church and the Cinnamon Square Community.
