Lillian Walker Garvin age 91 of Richmond, Texas passed away peacefully Monday, February 8, 2010. Prior to moving to Richmond, Texas. Lillian was a long time member of the Summer Grove Community and Summer Grove Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Dorseth Garvin. She is survived by her daughter, Linda Richard (Steve) of Richmond, Texas, her son, John Garvin (Debbie) of Pelham, Alabama. Three grandchildren, Tammy Shirley (Dennis) of Gulf Shores, Alabama, Robin Owens of Helena, Alabama, Dave McDaniel of Pelham, Alabama and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral service, Thursday, February 11, 2010, 3PM at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home in Shreveport, Louisiana with Reverend Murray Hodge officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to the Alzheimer Organization.
