Josie G Middlebrook

Jose was a seamstress for over twenty years and worked at Western Electric for twenty years. She loved gardening and crafts. She was a loving wife and mother and especially loved spending time with her family. She will be greatly missed by those who knew her best and loved her most.

Jose was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, John D. Middlebrook; sons, Gary Mauldin and David Middlebrook; grandson, Neil Dillard; granddaughter, Stephanie Cornish.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Carylon Franz (John); sons, Patrick Middlebrook (Pam) and Tom Middlebrook; grandchildren, Katie Behunin (Wes), Jason Middlebrook (Amanda), Daniel Middlebrook, Jennifer Jones, and David Dillard. She is also survived by five great grandchildren.

A Visitation for Josie will be held Thursday, December 14, 2023 from 9:00 am - 10:00 am at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home, 8801 Mansfield Road, Shreveport, Louisiana 71108. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 10:00 am with Bro. Ron Mclelland officiating. Interment will take place in Centuries Memorial Park. Honoring the family as pallbearers will be Jason Middlebrook, Daniel Middlebrook, Ronny Sulivan, Mann Hussman, Tim White and Justin Clifton.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital and Shreveport Food Bank.

The family would like to extend special thanks to Pat Britton for her care and devotion to Mrs. Middlebrook.
