Jeffrey Scott Merritt

Services for Jeff will be held Wednesday, July 26, 2023 at 2pm at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be held prior to services from 1pm until 2pm. Interment will immediately follow at Centuries Memorial Park.

Jeff worked in fencing, specializing in electric gates, and was a part of the Masonic Lodge. His favorite thing to do was to watch re-runs of Lawrence Welk. He also enjoyed fishing, antiquing and shopping. Jeff loved talking and visiting with his friends. He had a big heart, was very giving, a hard working family man, devoted husband and father. Jeff loved helping people anyway he could, loved a good joke and could always make you laugh.

Jeff joins in Heaven his parents. Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Karen Merritt; daughter, Sara Merritt; brother, Vic Merritt (Denise); sister, Jan Merritt, nephews Ricky and Tucker Merritt; many close friends and extended family.

Honoring Jeff as pallbearers will be David Letsinger, Kenny Hooker, Alan Heard, Dale Pantalion, Mark Mangham, Mike Mangham and Cheyenne Chadwick.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to his Grief Support Ministry Family and to the many friends who have given us support, prayers and comfort during this time of loss.
