Shreveport, LA- Funeral services celebrating the life of James Michael "Mike" White, 61, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, July 18, 2014 in the chapel of Centuries Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 17, 2014 from 5-7 p.m. at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home.
Mike was born on April 24, 1953 in Shreveport, LA and passed away on July 15, 2014. Mr. White was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and father-in-law. He enjoyed watching drag racing, fishing and building things. Mr. White served his country proudly in the U.S. Navy. Mike loved spendig time with his family, friends and grandchildren.
Mr. White was preceded in death by his parents.
Left to cherish beautiful memories of Mike are his wife of 40 years, Nila White; daughter, Nila Michelle White Lloyd and husband Michael; two brothers, Jackie White and Dave White; and grandchildren, Breann,Elizabeth and Steven Lloyd. Mr. White is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
Honorary pallbearers will be: Michael Scott Lloyd, Mike McCathern, Jackie White and Dave White.
