During most of her life, Ms. Eaton worked as a bookkeeper for a tile company and a church. After retiring, she focused her efforts on volunteer work; being active at Christus Schumpert Medical Center, and being a dedicated member of the Broadmoor Baptist Church. She especially loved spending time with her family, mainly attending family gatherings.
She is survived by son, B. Tom Lincoln and wife Angela; granddaughters, Ruth Turner, Bess Hawthorne, Esther Smallwood and Lydia Nicholas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon S. Eaton; her parents; and a sister, Lucille Reynolds Smith.
A celebration of life for Ms. Eaton will be held Thursday, November 1, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home, 8801 Mansfield Rd, Shreveport, Louisiana 71108. Following the service a burial will be held at Centuries Memorial Park, Dr. Larry Williams of Broadmoor Baptist.
