A visitation for Darline will be held Thursday, December 8, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home, 8801 Mansfield Road, Shreveport, Louisiana 71108. A celebration of her life will occur Friday, December 9, 2022 at 10:00 AM at King's Temple United Pentecostal Church, 8951 Kingston Rd, Shreveport, Louisiana 71118. She will be laid to rest in Centuries Memorial Park. Officiating the services will be Pastor Damon McGee and Pastor Mike Hudspeth. Honoring her as pallbearers will be

Darline Camp Gardner was born in Atlanta, Texas to the late Frank and Bernice Pate Camp. She graduated from Atlanta High School in Atlanta Texas. She was member of the Maroon Jacket Pep Squad and was named most loyal Maroon Jacket her senior year. She loved to travel local and abroad and left many wonderful memories of her trips to Branson, Missouri with her sisters.
She retired from AT&T after many years of service. For 49 years, Darline was a faithful member and supporter of Kings Temple UPC church in Shreveport, LA. Her love for The Lord and her family was evident by the way her life was lived. She had an infectious smile and a great sense of humor. Darline went home to be with her Lord on Monday, December 5, 2022 at the age of 80. She was surrounded by her family at her home. Her absence will be forever felt. We are blessed to have been loved by her.
Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 61 years, Jerry Gardner; children, Keith Gardner (Angela) of Stonewall, LA., Brady Gardner (Belle) of Malvern, AR. and Terri Martin (Nolan) of McKinney, TX.; grandchildren, Kelli McCool (Anthony) of Knoxville, TN., Connor Thompson-Gardner (Ashley) of Bossier City, LA., Cameron Martin (Lauren) of McKinney, TX., Courtney Martin of McKinney, TX., Abigail Gardner of Malvern, AR., Skyler Gardner of Malvern, AR. and Devin Gardner of Malvern, AR.; great grandchildren, Eleanor McCool of Knoxville, TN. and Calloway McCool of Knoxville, TN. and her sisters, Eloise Adams of Atlanta, TX. and Christine Stout of Fouke, AR.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Ernestine Stout.
