Clinton Eugene Burt Jr., age 72, of Bossier City, Louisiana passed away on Saturday, July 2, 2022. Clinton was born May 29, 1950 in Shreveport, Louisiana to Maurine Peeples Hardin and Clinton Eugene Burt, Sr..
Clint served in the United States Navy from 1969 - 1973 at Kagnew Station in Ethiopia, Africa. He also worked for American Airlines for most of his adult life.
Clint loved music of all kinds and sometimes traveled long distances to live concerts to see the musicians he admired. Clint was a die hard New Orleans Saints fan and stuck with them from the "Aint's" all the way to the Super Bowl and beyond.
Clint was preceded in death by his father Clinton Eugene Burt, Sr. and his mother Maurine Peeples Hardin.
Clint is survived by his sisters, Ann Gilbert (Kenny) and Deanna Ennen; brother, Brent Burt (Becky). He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A Memorial Visitation for Clinton will be held Saturday, July 23, 2022 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home, 8801 Mansfield Road, Shreveport, Louisiana 71108. A Memorial Celebration of Life will follow at 1:30 PM. Officiating the service will be Pastor Mark Briggs of River Park Church. Interment will be at Centuries Memorial Park.
A "Thank You" goes to Dr. Little, Dr. Syed and all the caring staff at Willis Knighton Pierremont and St. Joseph Hospice.
