Billie W. Nash

A memorial service celebrating the life of Billie Williams Nash, age 90, will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, December 2, 2017 at Centuries Memorial Park and Funeral Home, 8801 Mansfield Road, Shreveport, LA 71108. Officiating will be Pastor Kaylan Walker of Christ United Methodist Church. Visitation will be prior to the service starting at 1:00 P.M. and an interment will follow the service in Centuries Memorial Park. Billie passed away peacefully on Monday, November 27, 2017.

Billie lived a wonderful life full of fun times and shared over 70 years with the love of her life, Raymond F. Nash Jr. They lived an interesting life together moving from Shreveport to California, Puerto Rico, and North Dakota, with the Air Force, before retiring back in Shreveport. She loved her family, friends (many from her days at Fair Park High School - class of 1943!), cooking, playing bridge, dancing with Ray at any opportunity, and parties with friends. She was the ultimate hostess!

Billie is survived by one son, Richard Mark Nash and daughter-in-law Lynn Dupuy Nash, her grandson, Jeffrey Warren Nash, as well as extended family and many good friends .She will be missed by all who knew and loved her!
