Shreveport, LA- Funeral services celebrating the life of Austin Taylor Pace, 21, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 29, 2017 at Life Tabernacle Church, 4445 Meriwether Road, Shreveport, LA 71109. Officiating will be Pastor Eugene McBride. Interment will follow in Centuries Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Friday, July 28, 2017 at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home.
Austin was born on September 9, 1995 in Shreveport, LA and passed away suddenly on the evening of July 24, 2017 following a tragic motorcycle accident. He loved bass fishing, riding motorcycles and spending time with family and friends. He was very tech savvy and loved working on computers. Austin was a 2014 graduate of Southwood High School. After graduating, Austin worked as a cable technician installer for Comcast. Austin’s favorite restaurant was El Jimador Mexican Restaurant and he went there often. Austin and his friend Tyler loved fast cars and enjoyed going to the Texas 2K held in Baytown, TX. Austin was loved by everyone who knew him and will be remembered for his outgoing personality and infectious smile that lit up any room he was in.
Austin was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Billy Ray Davidson and by his paternal great grandmother, Evelyn Yee.
Left to cherish beautiful memories of Austin are his mother, Darlene Davidson; father, Gary Alan Pace and wife Kristi; sister, Haley Pace; maternal grandmother, Della Davidson and paternal grandparents, George and Marilyn Pace. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Honoring Austin as pallbearers will be: Thomas Raney, Tyler Boulay, Jason Davidson, Brandon Bozeman, Tristan Wallace, Kendrick Little and Cannon Gentry.
In honor of Austin Taylor Pace’s life and to heighten the communities’ concern for motorcycle awareness a balloon release will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 27, 2017 at Mansfield Road Baptist Church, 9965 Mansfield Road, Keithville, LA 71047.
