Andrea Michele McKinney Miller, age 77, passed away on July 11, 2024, in Bedford, Texas. She was born on February 2, 1947, in Shreveport, Louisiana, to Benjamin Franklin McKinney and Clara Lee Rodrigues McKinney.
Andy, as she was affectionately known, moved to Dallas, Texas, during high school and made it her lifelong home. She was a devoted member of Calvary Baptist Church in Euless, Texas. She retired from American Airlines after a successful career spanning 31 years, where she provided invaluable support to the flight simulators group.
Andy had a passion for several interests, including her unwavering support for the Dallas Cowboys and her dedication to animal rescue efforts. Her kindness and compassion extended not only to animals but also to her family and friends, whom she cherished deeply.
She is survived by her loving son, Marty "Chad" Miller, and wife Ann Miller of Fort Worth, Texas; daughter Melissa Craddock and husband Lonnie Craddock of Euless, Texas; numerous cousins; and a wide circle of friends. Andy was preceded in death by her father, Benjamin McKinney; mother, Clara Lee McKinney; and husband, Ronnie Miller.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Andy's cousins, Sandy Coburn, Sally Prothro, and Ronnie Berry, for their unwavering love and support throughout her final years. Special thanks also go to Jean Stephens, Andy's friend of over 50 years, for her enduring friendship and support. Additionally, the family appreciates Dr. Marc Chapman for his dedicated care over the years.
Honorary pallbearers include Andrew Austin, Jerry Davison, Tommy Berry, Ronny Berry, Paul Berry, Lonnie Craddock, and Jeff Stephens.
A service to celebrate Andy's life will be held on July 18, 2024, at 2:00 PM at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home and Park. Visitation will take place on July 17, 2024, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Lucas Funeral Home, Hurst, Texas. Officiants Pastor Coy Fuqua of Shreveport, Louisiana, and Pastor Eddie Adams of Hurst, Texas, will preside over the services.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to the Alzheimer’s Association Organization in memory of Andrea Michele McKinney Miller.
