Regina Fisseler

Regina was born on February 26, 1919 in Shiner, to Robert and Margareta (Stock) Seidenberger.

On June 24, 1940, Regina married Oscar B. Fisseler in the Sts. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church in Shiner.

Oscar preceded her in death on May 30, 2010.

Also preceded in death were her parents, sister; Lucille Stuber and brothers; Ewald and Erwin Seidenberger.

Survivors include her daughter; Katherine and husband Marvin Filla of Austin, son; Robert Fisseler and wife Margaret of Victoria, son; Glenn Fisseler and wife Doris of Houston, son; Thomas Fisseler of Houston, son; Michael Fisseler and wife Brenda of Hallettsville and son; Larry Fisseler and wife Brenda of Brownwood, 15 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

She is also survived by one sister; Evelyn Werner of Shiner, brother and sister-in-law; Daniel and Mildred Seidenberger of Shiner, sister-in-law; Minola Seidenberger of San Antonio and brother-in-law and sister-in-law; Lester and Joyce Fisseler of Waco and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be at Buffington Funeral Home on Friday, September 16, 2011 beginning at 5:00 P.M. with a Rosary at 7:00 PM in the funeral home chapel.

The funeral mass will be held on Saturday, September 17, 2011 at 10:00 A.M. at Sts. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church in Shiner with Father Kirby Hlavaty officiating. Interment will follow at the Shiner Catholic Cemetery.

Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.

The family respectfully requests the memorials be made to the Oscar and Regina Fisseler Memorial Scholarship Fund at Sts. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church, 306 S. Ave F, Shiner, Texas 77984.
