Carol Joann Comer

Carol was born on December 28, 1943 in Shenandoah and was the daughter of the late Paul J. Comer, Sr. and Nellie L. Judd Comer.

She was a member of the Ladies’ Auxiliary and attended Victory Baptist Church of Shenandoah. Before her diagnosis of cancer in 1994 she had worked 7 years at the alliance Plant and 25 years at Sleepwear.

Carol is survived by six sisters, Eula M. Russoms of FL, Nancy Lam, Sandra Breeden, Joyce Dean and Linda Williams all of Elkton; Brenda Comer of Shenandoah; two brothers, Frankie and Allen Comer both of Shenandoah; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by brothers, Paul J. Comer, Jr., Wilson Comer and Bruce E. Comer.

Following her wishes she will be cremated and a private family service will be held.
